Abby Speak

Three good ones today!  I was out running some errands (having me time) and Abby did a little tattle telling.  She has a balloon animal that has come apart, she picks it up and says to Grammy, "My mom says my balloon cat is all jacked up".

During her bath:
Abby: "Mom can you see my stingray?"
Me: "no baby, it is under all the bubbles, I can't see him"
Abby:  "Mom that is because you need to use your magination"
Two minutes later
Abby: "Mom, can you talk like me?"
Me:  "How do you talk?"
Abby:  "Duh, with my mouth"

Wow, it has been a long time!

I am officially the worst blogger ever.  Oh well, guess I could be worse things!  Life is very good and we are all loving Georgia.  I don't think that we will ever get used to Brad working nights again but we are happy.  New things since moving are Abby is sleeping in a big girl bed (with a little protesting each night), she has tried soccer, gymnastics, swimming lessons and preschool.  And we did have some success and a lot of fun.  Abby starts a new preschool on the 24 and I am very excited to see all the things her little mind can absorb.  Since living in Georgia I have starting playing tennis and it is a new passion for sure.  I was invited to play on a doubles team and we start our matches on September 13 (mom's b-day).
We are about 30 minutes north of Atlanta and avoid going into the city unless we must.  We are about 6 hours from Erik and Jeni and about 3-1/2 hours from the Smokies.  We have made one trip to the mountains where Abby and Daddy had their first fishing experience.  The Skinner's have been here twice to visit and we have been there once.  We just got back from an amazing trip with them to Wrightsville Beach in NC.  Abby and Brooke had a great time playing together and I am sure Abby was born to live at the beach.  (Make it happen Daddy!?)  Brad's parents came for a Christmas visit and had a great time laughing and playing with Abby.  We look forward to their next visit.  Chad and Dawn came and spent a week with us in July and we saw more of Georgia than we had in the past 10 months!  They really go, go, go.  It was a blast!
I really will try to update more often....hopefully!

We have some had a very eventful couple of weeks.  Mom has suffered from a compression in her spine and has spent a couple of weeks in the hospital.  She is now at the rehab unit here in Hazard.  She is getting physical and occupational therapy daily.  She should be home within two weeks.
On the happy side, Brad received a promotion and we are moving again!  He is going to be the assistant Hub manager in Kennesaw, Georgia.  We are all very excited!  Brad starts on September 1st! So we aren't wasting any time in finding a new house.  Keep posted! I will add some Abby pics soon.
